Apples cost $0.35 each
Apples = x
Oranges = y
3x + 2y = 1.55
4x + 3y = 2.15
I like the substitution method
2y = -3x + 1.55
y = -1.5x + 0.775
4x + 3(-1.5x + 0.775) = 2.15
4x - 4.5x + 2.325 = 2.15
-0.5x + 2.325 = 2.15
-0.5x = -0.175
x = 0.35
