Does your text elaborate on the current hostiles between the two groups? I have just moved on from the crusades and nowhere in my lesson have talked about this. I also tried finding something answer your questions but cannot find a reliable source. Also by current hostiles, do they mean conflict of beliefs or like big deathy level stuff? it doesn't seem like that current believers dislike each other bc of stuff that happened a long time ago, maybe if their racist since most Muslims are POC.
