4/s-3 + s/2 = -2

Explanation:

Given equation is 4/(s-3) + (s/2) = -2

=> [(4×2)+s(s-3)]/2(s-3) = -2

=> (8+s²-3s)/(2s-6) = -2

=> 8+s²-3s = -2(2s-6)

=> 8+s²-3s = -4s+12

=> s²-3s+8+4s-12 = 0

=> s²+s-4 = 0

The standard form is s²+s-4 = 0
