M + 6/-3 = 4
Following the order of operations, 6 divided by -3 is -2. So we can replace that with -2 and get:
M+-2=4
Adding a negative is the same thing as subtracting.
M-2=4
Then we can add 2 to both sides to get rid of the 2.
M-2+2=4+2
M = 6
