Answer: Native populations were forcibly converted to Christianity. When native Americans were confronted with Christianity, some incorporated elements of Christianity into their own beliefs, creating a new, syncretistic system.

Answer: The disease component of the Columbian Exchange was a big problem. I was bringing in sicknesses that people in Europe and America had never seen like smallpox and many who caught the diseases died because they were unable to fight the illness and they didn't have a cure.
