Erosion and weathering are pretty much the same except for the fact that erosion breaks down and carries the product while weathering just breaks it down:)

Answer:

Erosion is when it's being broken down and carried to a new place. This is how deltas and sand bars are formed. Weathering is when it's only being broken down.
