Answer: 5 + 3x ≤ 20; 5

Explanation:

at most means not more than(less or equal to),which use the symbol ≤. Let x be the hour that Max rent.

5 + 3x ≤ 20

3x ≤ 15 [Subtract 5 from both sides.]

x ≤ 5 [Divide 3 from both sides.]

Any value less than or equal to 5 will be satisfies the inequality.
