I think you mean to ask what is the measure of angle A.

You can find the third angle of the bottom triangle by 180 - 43 - 35 = 102

The vertical angle above it is also 102.

Then, to find the measure of angle A, you do 180 - 102 - 18 = 60

So, the measure of angle A is 60 degrees.

Answer:

  • 60°

Explanation:

Since Angle E is same for both triangles, as vertical angles, the sum of the other two interior angles should be same.

Then we have:

  • m∠A + m∠B = mC + m∠D
  • m∠A + 18 = 43 + 35
  • m∠A + 18 = 78
  • m∠A = 78 - 18
  • m∠A = 60
