What is the difference between a cell and an organ? List your ideas in the brainstorm.

1) CELL: The basic structural and functional unit of living organisms is called cell.

2) ORGAN: When a specific tissue of an organism combines it forms a structure which is having a specific function is called organ.

*************DIFFERENCES***********
Cell represent the complete body organisation of prokaryotes. It is the last stage after which the cell undergoes reproduction and results in the formation new daughter cells.

Organ doesn’t represent the complete organisation of a eukaryotic cell but intermediate.

The cell is made from organelles while the organ is composed of specialised tissues.

When cells combines it forms tissue while organs form organsystem.
