Why commodity money was changed over the years?? 3 reasons please​

Answer:

Because commodity money has an intrinsic value apart from that which it obtains by being a medium of exchange, its relative price will not be zero. Thus, in a commodity money economy, the value of money (the inverse of the price level) is bounded away from zero.
