I would personally say that because of difference in ideas, and the fact that they split in the first place really says enough. they obviously could not come to an agreement, and own it all together. when person 1 wants something that person 2 doesn't, there is a higher chance of conflict arising since there are 2 powerful leaders that want 2 different things. Ukraine and Russia is somewhat a good example of this. Because putin had wanted Ukraine to be apart of russia, and Ukraine didnt want to, so putin had invaded.
