An electrician bought 500 metres of wire. He sold 43 m 75 cm of the wire to one

customer and 158 m 50 cm of it to another customer. What length of wire is now left with him

43m and 75 cm = 43.75 158 m and 50 cm = 158.50

→ Add the decimal numbers together

43.75 + 158.50 = 202.25

→ Subtract from the original length
