The two monosaccharides combine with each other on glycosidic bond. When two monomers of carbohydrate combine with each other it forms disaccharide. When many monosaccharides combine with each other it forms polysaccharide.

Some common disaccharides are sucrose( glucose+fructose)
Maltose( glucose+glucose)
Lactose( glucose+ galactose)
