c

nitrogen gas + hydrogen gas produces ammonia

N2( g)+ H2(g)=NH3( g)

hydrogen valency= 1, nitrogen =3 .Exchange them= NH3

balance

put 2 in front of NH3 to make nitrogen 2 .Them hydrogen is now 6,add3 to hydrogen to make them balance.

N2+3H2=2NH3
