Definition of X-intercept: a point where the y-value of the point is equal to 0

5x - y = 10\\5x - 0 = 10\\5x = 10\\x = 2

Therefore the x-intercept is (2,0).

Definition of Y-intercept: a point where the x-value of the point is equal to 0

5x - y = 10\\5(0)-y = 10\\-y = 10\\y = -10

Therefore the y-intercept is (0,-10).

Hope that helps!
