Hope you help me out with this word problem.

Q. The number of bees in a hive increases day by day. After a time of days, the number of bees in the hive is given by the formula: b=10d + 3
Make 'd' the subject of the formula.....................?

Explanation:

b = 10d + 3

• Place +3 in the other side of the equal sign
• + 3 becomes - 3
• b - 3 = 10
• Divide both sides by 10 to make d the subject
• b - 3 / 10 = 10d / 10
• d = b - 3 / 10
