Cost price percentage =100%
Percentage discount =25%
Therefore percentage that the customer bought = 100 - 25= 75%

If 75% = Rs 1680
then 100% =100 x 1680/75
= Rs 2240
Hence the cost of the watch before discount is Rs 2240
