I dont understand how to fund 4/5 to find point k and i dont understand how to fund point x 1:3

Point K is at 2.6 because the distance from A to F is 12 and 4/5 of 12 is 9.6 and is you go 9.6 units up from A you get 2.6 and x is -5 because you count 3 units down from d then 1 unit up from a and continue in that pattern untwine you get to the point were they meet.
