The algebric expression of substrabing 4x from the square root of y is?

Here, we have the keyword ⇨ subtracting 4x
from
the square root of y.
Since, there's the word 'from', we must put the square root of y first, then add the minus symbol since the operation given is subtraction & lastly, we should add 4x.
This is how you write the square root of y
The last 2 options show y² (y to the power of 2 / y square).... it's not the square root of y. So, we can eliminate the last 2 options.
Now, let's identify the correct answer from the 1st 2 options. I already explained that the square root of y should come first, so the correct answer is Option 1.
