How do you do division > I struggle on it a lot

Division can be hard but it does get easier. Dividend is a number to be divided by another number, and divisor is a number divided into another. Then we have the quotient that is the results from the division of one number by another. The order doing long division needs to be like this. Example; Divide. Multiply. Subtract. Check. Bring down (or up.)

Dividend ➗ divisor = quotient

Multiplication and division are actually the opposite of each other. Multiplication starts with the bigger number, and division ends with the bigger number.

Explanation:

ok so do 24 6x4 is 24 now dividing it would be 24 divided by 6 or 4 if 4 then it would be six. its multiplication but you find how many times you multiply a certain number.
