What happen when a river completely dry?​

If a River gets dried up, it may cause destructive and harmful effects on the environment as well as the mankind. There will be lack of drinking water, loss of aquatic habitat for fish and the most important aspect is...absence of water for agriculture purposes. The lakes and rivers would also get cease to exist.
