Why do you need a messenger like mRNA to get a protein made from a DNA “recipe”?

long story short, RNA is necessary for your body to make the proteins that give you structure, let you move (muscles), send signals (hormones), have chemical reactions (enzymes), fight infections (antibodies) and lots of other things that make life possible.
