If you hold a rubber ball in your hand and let it go, it begins to move. Describe the motion of the ball and identify the force that causes it to move.

When the ball is held in the hand, there is potential energy acting on it, when you drop the ball…there is I’ll be kinetic energy acting on it. The potential energy in your hand is turned into kinetic energy which is used to drop the ball.
