Pay for taxes and serve on a jury & I think Serve your community and take a citizenship test. I know you do not need to run for office, and you are not obligated to vote. You have a choice wether or not you want to vote, some people choose not to. Although others are starting to think citizens need to vote, and want it mandatory it isn’t at the moment I think.
