A rectangle is formed by placing 2 identical squares side by side. The area of the rectangle is 98 cm2. What is the perimeter of one square

The rectangle area is 98. So if you split it in half, you would get 2 squares. Half of 98 is 49.

If it is now a square, you now simply know, that 7*7=49. Meaning that The sides of the square are 7 each.

7 times the 4 sides equals 28. So the perimeter of one square is 28.
