Answer:

The associative property can be used with multiplication and addition.

Examples:

2+(3+2) -> (2+3)+2 (Associative Addition)

2*(3*2) -> (2*3)*2 (Associative Mult.)

It does not work with division or subtraction.

2-(3-2) does not equal (2-3)-2
