X-3(4)=-2
x-12=-2
So ya add the -12 to both side and you get X=10

Answer:

y= -3x+4

Explanation:

x+12=3y

(x+12)/3 = y

slope =

(1)/(3)

the new slope = -3

Perpendicular slopes must be opposite reciprocals of each other: m1 * m2 = –1

With the new slope, use the slope intercept form and the point to calculate the intercept: y = mx + b

4 = -3×(0) + b

b= 4

so y= -3x+4
