Brackets and parenthesis are important! Make sure to put them in the correct spot

Explanation:

Domain is which x values the line hits. It hits from -5 to 5 but doesn't include 5 as indicated by the open circle.

Range is which y values the line hits. It hits from 1 to 3 but doesn't include 1 because, again, there is an open circle.

When a number is not included, you put it with a parenthesis.

When it is included, you put it with a bracket.

(-5,5) because domain is side ways on the point and range is straight up
