164 sq. meters
Explanation:
Area = length • width
Area = 12 • 15
Area = 180
Area = length • width
Take the area of the none shaded part
Area = 8 • 2
Area = 16
Now subtract 16 from 180
180 - 16 = 164
Area = 164 sq. meters
