How did external forces lead to the death of Romeo and Juliet ?

The animosity between Romeo and Juliet's two fathers, Capulet and Montague, is, in my opinion, the driving factor behind their deaths. Because of this conflict, Romeo and Juliet feel compelled to suppress their love, which ultimately leads to their deaths.
