The first flock contained 5283 birds . The second contained 5 times as many birds the third flock had twice as many birds as the second flock . How many birds were there in all?

Explanation:

number of birds in the 2nd flock = 5283 * 5 = 26415

number of birds in the 3rd flock = 26415 * 2 = 52830

total = 5283 + 26415 + 52830 = 84528
