If x >0 and y < 0. is the equation x - y >0 sometimes, always, or never true

Prove your answers with two examples.

Answer:

always true because the negative value of y is cancelld by - sign so it becomes x+|y|

examples: x=1, y=-1 then 1-(-1)>0

x=2, y=-5 then 2-(-5)>0
