In your opinion did caesar destroy the republic? Explain
using the Videos logic.

Answer:

The Republic existed for over 400 years and had hit a crisis it could not overcome. Julius Caesar played the biggest role in disrupting the Republic and he himself became the first emperor of Rome in 27 B.C.E. By that time, the Republic's political norms were breaking down for over a century, and Julius found himself in a position to take advantage of that.
