(c) Joseph puts a small amount of water into a flat dish in Diagram 1.

He then leaves the dish outside in the warm sunshine. After a while the water disappears. Explain what happens to the water particles.​

the water particles evaporate. this is because heat increases the kinetic energy of molecules. causing them to become lighter and rise to the top of the liquid. further heat then breaks the bonds between the water molecules hence allowing them escape.
