Why old system of measurement isn't accepted nowadays ​

We can measure the length of an object using the units of measurement 'hand span,' 'forearm length,' or 'footstep.' Hand span, forearm length, and footstep, on the other hand, cannot be used as standard unit measurements because their length varies from person to person.

To conclude, the old system of measurement isn’t accepted anymore because it would not be accurate.
