You need to find simple values close to the actual ones asked.

sr(16) = 4 so -sr(17) is slightly below than -4

cr(8) = 2 because 2x2x2=8 so cr(9) is slightly above 2

cr(1) = 1 and cr(8) = 2 so cr(4) is between 1 and 2
