At the beginning of emergence, radicle and plumule comes out from the seedling in which radicle moves downward towards soil while on the other hand, plumule moves upward towards sunlight. During this movement, the seedling use stored food present in the seed until it started preparing food their own. After the seedlings comes out of the soil it started to make their own food through the process of photosynthesis.
