f(x) = 4(1/2)^x

y = 4(1/2)^x

-find the y-intercept

if x=0 then y = 4(1/2)^0 = 4*1 =4, the y-intercept is (0,4)

so is first or second graph

-look at the second graph and check if the function go trough the point (1, 2)

if x=1 then y = 4(1/2)^1 = 4/2 = 2
