Frida Kahlo is the artist I chose. "The Two Fridas" is the work of art I have chosen. This is
a representation of their two different personalities. The original Frida dressed in
Tehuana, with a broken heart, sitting next to an independent Frida and dressed in a
modern fashion. He wrote about this work of art and said it was inspired by a memory of
the childhood of an imaginary friend. He said the painting was an expression of his
misery and loneliness as a result of his separation from Diego.
