Where does the waste material in the body come from

and why does the body need to get rid of these waste
materials?

The body is incredibly efficient in using everything it is provided as resources. However what is dangerous or not needed is expelled as waste. The first being food that is not digested and no longer provides any energy. The second is through the cells in our body which use the energy and useful material and seperate the uneeded material such as urea, salts and excess water. Anything that is excess or toxic is expelled from the body as waste, otherwise it can begin seeping into the bodies bloodstream and cause the individual to become ill.
