There is a bag filled with 4 blue and 5 red marbles.

A marble is taken at random from the bag, the colour is noted and then it is not replaced.
Another marble is taken at random.

Answer:

The probability of getting exactly iblue is
(5)/(9)

Explanation:

from\ the\ given\ condition.

We\ only\ have\ two\ way.

One\ way\ is\ the\ first\ one\ take\ the\ blue.

one\ but\ the\ second\ one\ take\ red.\ one.

Another\ way\ is\ the\ first\ one\ take\ the\ red.

one\ but\ the\ second\ one\ take\ the\ blue.

one.

so.\ P_1=(4)/(9)*(5)/(8)=(5)/(18)

P_2=(5)/(9)*(4)/(8)=(5)/(18)

so.\ we\ have\ p=p_1+p_2=(5)/(18)+(5)/(16)=(5)/(9)

I hope this helps you
