A shopkeeper supplies 42 kg of vegetables to a school canteen in the morning and 58 kg of vegetables in the evening if cost of 1kg vegetable is 16 rupees how much money is due to the canteen per day?​

Add both instances of supplying vegetables in 1 day together.

42 kilograms + 58 kilograms = 100 kilograms

Since each kilogram of vegetables equals 16 rupees, 100 kilograms of vegetables is just this number multiplied by 100.

16 rupees * 100 = 1600 rupees
