C) x = ± 4
Explanation:
12x² - 288 = 0
Add 288 on both sides. Anything plus zero gives itself.
12x ² = 288
Divide both side by 12
Divide 288 by 12 to get 24
x² = 24
Taking square root of each side and remember to use positive and negative roots
