Task 6: Facing the World
In this activity, you will be given a set of facts. You need to use these ideas in
writing your own composition. Follow the steps below.
1. Read the information in the Facts box as basis of your written output.
2. Create a writing plan on your answer sheet. Choose a text type that you
want to write. You can choose to write a literary narrative, explanatory,
expository, recount, or persuasive text.
3. Explain your chosen text type. Consider the text purpose and audience.
4. Make sure that your composition follows the features of the text type.
