Camille unpacked 24 boxes and then took a break. She had completed 40% of the unpacking. How many total boxes did she need to unpack?

If 24 boxes = 40 percent

we can say that

12 boxes is 20%

since she finished 40% and now (100%-40% = 60%) we know she needs to unpack 60 %.

As i said:

24 box = 40%

12 box = 20 %

add em up and

36 box = 60%

She needed to unpack 60 boxes( 36+24 = 60)
