Slant height

= sqrt(5.5²+15²) using Pythagoras theorem

= sqrt(255.25)

= 15.98"

Explanation:

Use Pythagoras theorem.

The triangle we want has a height of 15 , base of 1/2*11 = 5.5 and we need the length of the hypotenuse.

h^2 = 5.5^2 + 15^2 = 255.25

h = 15.976.
