Explanation:

Surface area of a cylinder= 2πr (r+h)

The radius is not shown.

Radius= diameter/2

= 7/2

= 3.5 in

Surface area= 2xπx3.5 (3.5+8)

= 253 in²

*r=radius

h=height

I used the π value from my calculator.

P.S. You can substitute π for 3.14. If you round it to the nearest whole number, you will still get the same answer. Hope this helped!
