Deforestation is affecting the Earth and our environment in multiple ways. It can lead to the extinction of wildlife, less clean air for us to breathe, temperature imbalances forcing wildlife and organisms to adapt, less rainfall causing the soil to become dry and unsuitable for planting, etc. It's also important to know that forests cover 30% of Earth and that we should look for more sustainable resources other than wood because it plays such a vital role in our environment.
