So when doing area you wanna multiply the numbers in this example, 1/2*3/4= 3/8

It would either be 3 or 4, but I would go with addition with fractions

I think the answer would be the 3rd one

(I might be wrong, but all i know is that its nit the 1st or 2nd choice)

I dont think its subtraction, since when I did it I got 1/4

So it would have to be the 3rd

(sorry if this didn't help, but at least you can understand)
