The sum of the first 12 terms ≈ 515
Step-by-step explanation:
a (first term) = 2
r (ratio) = second term/first term = 3/2
S12 (sum of first 12 terms)
= [a(r^n - 1)]/(r - 1)
= [2((3/2)^12 - 1)]/(3/2 - 1)
≈ [2(128.75)]/(1/2)
≈ 257.5/0.5
≈ 515
